The CEO of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant, has virtually launched India’s first Digital Asset Management platform, DigiBoxx, on 22 December (Tuesday). He himself signed up for an account during the event, making him the first user of this India’s first cloud storage platform. It helps you to save, store, and even share with your team without worrying about the security issues. He also told that they are going to hire over 5000 engineers locally.
DigiBoxx is an Indian based SaaS (Software as a Service) product that provides storage options for Individuals/ Freelancers, SMBs, as well as enterprises. Means, from now, India will no longer depends on foreign SaaS offerings.

NITI Aayog’s Cloud Service Digiboxx launched with upto 2TB storage

With our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi urging the nation to go ‘Vocal for Local’ and vouching to be ‘Atmanirbhar’, NITI Aayog have started this DigiBoxx to help both Individuals/ Freelancers and SMBs/ Enterprises to provide all the features equal to their rivals in the market at Indian price points.

Like Google Drive and Apple’s iCloud service, DigiBoxx NITI Aayog will enable their users to store, manage, collaborate, organise and share all their data online.
For individuals/ freelancers (single users), the DigiBoxx offers free account with 20GB of storage, Gmail integration, a 2GB maximum file size, and unlimited external collaborations. Whereas the monthly plan comes with up to 5TB storage and a maximum file size of 10GB.
For SMBs, there is a plan from Rs. 999 onwards that provides up to 50TB storage, unlimited external collaborations, 10GB max file size, automated backups, Gmail integration, etc. Additionally, there is a customized solution for enterprises with 501+ users, which will be available in the coming months.

How does DigiBoxx work?
It’s a simple process – All we need is – create an account, upload our files/ documents and we can collaborate with our team.
This indigenous Indian cloud storage service “Digiboxx” allows users to share any type of files easily with an email ID and mobile number.
